Terms of Service
Last updated: November 7, 2026. Written to be read — if anything is unclear, email us and we'll explain.
By creating an account or using the Applyd web app, Chrome extension or free tools (“Applyd”), you agree to these terms.
1. What Applyd does
Applyd helps you prepare job applications: it builds a profile from your resume, tailors resumes and cover letters, scores your match against job postings and fills in application forms. Applyd never submits an application for you. You review every field and decide whether to submit.
2. Your responsibilities
- The information in your profile must be truthful. You are responsible for reviewing every document and form answer before you use it.
- AI output — tailored documents, drafted answers, interview prep and outreach drafts — can contain mistakes. Applyd is designed not to invent facts, but you must check that everything is accurate before you use it. Edits you make yourself are your responsibility.
- You are responsible for complying with the terms of the job sites and employers you apply to.
- Keep your account secure and don’t share it.
3. Acceptable use
Don’t use Applyd to submit false information, to scrape or overload websites, to reverse-engineer or resell the service, or to get around plan limits (for example with multiple accounts).
4. Plans, billing and limits
- Every plan includes every feature. Plans differ only in their monthly allowance of tailored applications and interview preps, as shown on the pricing page (Free: 5 tailored applications and 1 interview prep per calendar month). A resume and cover letter for the same job in the same month count as one tailored application.
- Paid plans (Plus, Pro and Max) are billed in advance monthly or every 3 months and renew automatically until cancelled. Unused monthly allowance doesn’t roll over.
- Top-ups are one-time purchases of extra tailored applications. They are used after your monthly allowance, work on any plan and don’t expire while your account is open.
- You can switch plans or cancel any time from the billing page; plan changes are prorated by our payment processor, and after cancelling you keep your plan until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.
5. Referrals
When someone signs up with your link and verifies their email, you both receive 5 bonus tailored applications. Self-referrals and fake accounts are not allowed and bonuses may be removed.
6. Your content
You own your resume, profile and generated documents. You give us permission to process them only to provide Applyd to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Share cards you create are public to anyone with the link until you delete them. They never include your name or contact details; the company name is included only if you choose. Testimonials you submit are published only with your explicit consent and after review, and you can ask us to remove them at any time.
6a. Free tools
The free tools (such as the ATS resume checker and keyword match) are provided as-is for guidance. Files you upload to them are processed in memory and not stored. Automated or bulk use is not allowed.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Applyd running but don’t guarantee it will always be available or work on every website. Job sites change often and some forms may need manual completion.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Applyd is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee interviews, offers or any hiring outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can stop using Applyd at any time and delete your account from Settings, which also cancels any subscription. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
