Supported sites

Works where you already apply

Dedicated support for LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday — and a generic mode for most company career pages. Here's exactly what works on each, and what to do when something doesn't.

Six sites, each with its own playbook

Every one has a reader built for its job pages. The four applicant tracking systems also get form filling tuned to their fields. Here's exactly what works on each.

Applicant tracking systems

Read the job · fill the application

  • Greenhouse

    ATS

Standard and new-style Greenhouse forms, read and filled.

    • Classic and new-style application forms
    • Dropdowns, including the searchable kind
    • Resume upload
    • The voluntary self-identification section
    • Education blocks, added to match your profile

Tip: Some companies embed Greenhouse in their own careers page. Grant access to that site when Chrome asks, so Applyd can reach the embedded form.

  • Lever

    ATS

Fully supported, from contact details to custom questions.

    • Name, email, phone, location and current company
    • LinkedIn, GitHub and portfolio links
    • Resume upload
    • Custom questions — long answers drafted for you to edit
    • Voluntary EEO questions — declined unless you consent

Tip: Lever forms embedded on a company's own careers page are recognised too.

  • Ashby

    ATS

Fully supported, including Ashby's button-style questions.

    • Name, email, phone and location
    • LinkedIn, GitHub and website links
    • Yes / no button questions
    • Resume upload
    • Custom questions — long answers drafted for you to edit

Tip: White-labelled Ashby forms on a company's own domain are recognised by their markup.

Workday

ATS · multi-step

Multi-step applications, one step at a time — and you click “Save and Continue”.

  • Detects each new step and autofills it — automatically, unless you turn that off
  • Adds “Add another” work history and education blocks to match your profile
  • Listbox dropdowns and split month / day / year dates
  • Resume upload

What you do

  1. 1Create or sign in to that employer's Workday account — each company has its own.
  2. 2Review the highlighted fields, then click Workday's own “Save and Continue”. Applyd never clicks it for you.

Tip: Workday sometimes asks you to re-upload your resume, then pre-fills work history from it. Check those entries carefully — Workday's parser makes mistakes, not Applyd.

A Workday application on the My Experience step: two work experience blocks filled and outlined green, the second one added by Applyd, split month, day and year date fields filled, the side panel offering “Autofill this step”, and Workday's Save and Continue button labelled “You click this”.

Job boards

Read the job · score · tailor

  • LinkedIn

    Job board

LinkedIn Jobs: open a job's detail view and the side panel reads it.

    • Title, company, location and the full description
    • Match score and missing keywords
    • Tailored resume and cover letter
    • Save to your tracker
    • Keeps up as you click through the job list, once LinkedIn is enabled

Support here is for reading jobs. When “Apply” takes you to the employer's own form — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday or a careers page — autofill picks up there.

Tip: Open the job's detail view, then click Analyze.

  • Indeed

    Job board

Indeed job pages: open a job's detail view and the side panel reads it.

    • Title, company, location and the full description
    • Match score and missing keywords
    • Tailored resume and cover letter
    • Save to your tracker

Support here is for reading jobs. When “Apply” takes you to the employer's own form — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday or a careers page — autofill picks up there.

Tip: Open the job's detail view, then click Analyze.

Everywhere else

Company career pages and other ATSs

When a site isn't one of the six, Applyd's generic mode takes over. It handles most standard forms — and tells you plainly when it isn't sure.

Reading the job

  • Uses the page's structured job data (schema.org JobPosting) when it's there.
  • Otherwise reads the main block of text on the page.
  • Or highlight the description, right-click and choose “Use as job description”.

Filling the form

  • Matches fields by label — including placeholder-only and ARIA-labelled fields.
  • Fills text fields, dropdowns, radio buttons and checkboxes, and attaches your resume.
  • Understands labels in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch.
  • Recognises Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday forms embedded on a company's site.

Usually works in generic mode

  • iCIMS
  • SmartRecruiters
  • Taleo
  • BambooHR
  • Custom forms

Usually — not always. Anything Applyd isn't sure about is highlighted yellow for you to check.

A company careers page with the job description selected and the right-click menu open on “Use as job description”, and a French application form filled in generic mode — first name, last name, start date and country outlined green, a drafted answer outlined yellow.

Site access

Enable once. Revoke any time.

On your first job, “Enable on supported job sites” asks Chrome for the six sites in a single prompt — so the side panel keeps working across Workday's steps, LinkedIn's job list and application forms embedded on company sites.

  • Nothing at installThe extension ships with no site access. It reads a page only when you open the side panel there and ask it to.
  • Per site, your callAccess is granted by you through Chrome's own prompt — the supported set in one go, or one careers site at a time.
  • Revoke wheneverRemove access any time in Chrome's extension settings. Applyd never reads your browsing history.

Enable on supported job sites

One prompt
  • www.linkedin.com
  • *.indeed.com
  • boards.greenhouse.io
  • job-boards.greenhouse.io
  • jobs.lever.co
  • jobs.ashbyhq.com
  • *.myworkdayjobs.com
  • *.myworkday.com

Plus the site you're on, if it isn't one of these.

Enable on this site — for any other careers page, one site at a time. Embedded Greenhouse forms need access to the company's site, so grant it when Chrome asks.

When something's missed

What if a field isn't filled?

Every site is a little different, so Applyd shows its work. After each autofill, the page and the side panel tell you what was filled, what needs a look and what was left alone.

An application form after autofill: name, email and notice period outlined green; desired salary, veteran status and a drafted answer outlined yellow; a referral code field with no outline; and the side panel listing the three fields to review, each of which jumps to the field on the page.

  • Green — Filled from your profile.
  • Yellow — Needs your review — a drafted answer, a sensitive question, or a value Applyd wasn't sure about.
  • No outline — Not touched — already filled, unknown, or skipped.

Common fixes

Nothing happened
Click “Enable on this site” in the side panel so Chrome lets Applyd read the form, then try again.
A field was skipped
Check your profile has that information — for example, notice period in Common answers.
A dropdown has the wrong option
Pick the right one. Applyd matches the option text closest to your profile answer.
The resume wasn't attached
Some sites only accept Word files, so Applyd sends a .docx automatically when a form doesn't accept PDFs. If it still fails, attach it yourself from Documents.
Fields you typed weren't changed
That's on purpose. Tick “Overwrite fields I already filled” if you want Applyd to replace them.
