Supported job sites (and tips for each)

LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and most career pages.

Applyd reads job descriptions and fills application forms on the most common job boards and applicant tracking systems (ATS). On other sites a generic mode handles most standard forms.

Reading job descriptions

  • LinkedIn Jobs and Indeed: open the job's detail view, then click Analyze.
  • Company career pages: Applyd reads structured job data when available, otherwise the main text block.
  • Can't detect it? Highlight the description, right-click and choose “Use as job description”.

Greenhouse

Standard and new-style Greenhouse forms are supported, including dropdowns, the resume upload and the voluntary self-identification section. Some companies embed Greenhouse inside their careers page — grant access to that site when Chrome asks so Applyd can reach the embedded form.

Lever and Ashby

Both are fully supported, including links, location and custom questions. Long custom answers are drafted for you to edit before they're inserted.

Workday

  1. Create or sign in to your Workday account for that employer (each company has its own).
  2. On each step (My Information, My Experience, Application Questions, Voluntary Disclosures), click Autofill in the side panel.
  3. Review the highlighted fields, then click Workday's own “Save and Continue”. Applyd never clicks it for you.
  4. On the next step Applyd detects the change and can autofill again automatically.

Workday sometimes asks you to re-upload your resume and then pre-fills work history from it. Check those entries carefully — Workday's parser makes mistakes, not Applyd.

Other sites

iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, Taleo, BambooHR and custom forms usually work in generic mode. Anything Applyd isn't sure about is highlighted yellow for you to check.
